Netanyahu Meets with Macron in France
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu continued his tour of European capitals Tuesday, meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris. “Democracies share a common challenge: radical Islam,” Netanyahu said during their joint press conference. “Israel and France share intelligence. I believe these exchanges have saved many lives. We will intensify these exchanges. The greatest danger these days is nuclear weapons in the hands of radical Iran. It is time to apply pressure on Iran that their nuclear plan won’t go anywhere.’’

On Tuesday evening, Netanyahu and Macron attended an event to celebrate the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between France and Israel, held at the Paris Grand Palais.

"We celebrate tonight 70 years of Israeli Independence and 70 years of French-Israeli friendship, and there is much to celebrate" Netanyahu said during his address. "Why are our nations such close allies? I imagine the answer can be summarized in three words, words that you know, freedom, equality and liberty."
