Iran Warned Against Accelerating Nuclear Plans
U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo Tweeted on Wednesday evening that "We're watching reports that #Iran plans to increase its enrichment capacity. We won't allow Iran to develop a nuclear weapon. Iran is aware of our resolve." The tweet came in response to an announcement by the clerical regime in Teheran that it is moving to complete a facility to house advanced enrichment centrifuges at its Natanz nuclear center.

Israel Looks to Increase Population on Golan Heights
Israeli Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon gave his approval Wednesday to a government plan designed to attract tens of thousands of Jewish Israelis to live and work in the Golan Heights over the next ten years. “The missed opportunity in the Golan is not only demographic but also a security danger,” said Deputy Minister Michael Oren, the author of the plan. “Iran is trying to replace the Sunni population near the border with Shi’ite forces to build a base in Syria and make the Golan a conflict zone with Israel. We must take advantage of this window of opportunity.”

“Anyone with an understanding of reality can see that Israel will never return the Golan Heights to Assad, a psychopath who has murdered half a million of his own people and whose partners are Iran and Hezbollah,” Yesh Atid leader Yair Lapid said at a Knesset event Wednesday. “The Golan is strategically important for the entire North. We will not allow it to become an area from which Israel is under constant threat – not now and not after Assad.”

Protests Continue in Jordan
Street protests against proposed new taxes and other austerity measures continued on the streets of several Jordanian cities on Thursday, despite an earlier decision by the Professional Associations Council to suspend demonstrations until the newly appointed Prime Minister can assemble his team and make new plans. The decision to continue street demonstrations reportedly came from the grass roots, as many citizens declared that they would continue protesting until they felt their grievances and demands had been heard.
