Christian Allies of Israel Meet with Arab Leaders
Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman hosted a group of Evangelical Christians in Riyadh on Thursday, including Joel C. Rosenberg and Mike Evans, both well-known allies of the Jewish State. “We were pleased by the invitation extended to us more than two months ago by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia," the delegation said in a statement. "Without question, this is a season of tremendous change in the Middle East, and therefore we have been grateful for the opportunity to meet in-person with key Arab leaders to understand their goals and to ask direct questions. We look forward to building upon these relationships and continuing the dialogue.”

Netanyahu in Bulgaria
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu flew to Bulgaria on Thursday for meetings with the leaders of that country as well as Romania, Greece and Serbia. The meetings are meant to build stronger relationships with Balkan allies and serve, in part, as a counter-balance to the increasingly hostile diplomatic stance taken towards Israel elsewhere in the European Union. “This is a process that will take time, but I believe in setting a goal, and systematically setting out to achieve it – and I believe this is something we will achieve with time,” he told reporters at Ben Gurion Airport just prior to boarding his flight.

Russia Warns Israel to Curtail Activity in Syria
Russia’s Defense Ministry issued a statement Thursday warning against “hot heads” who might be tempted to escalate the situation in Syria, with Ministry spokesman Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov specifically mentioning that the recently deployed S-300 air defense system was meant to deter such adventurism. Sources in the Kremlin confirmed to media outlets that the statement had been meant for Israel, which has reportedly continued to strike at Iranian targets in Syria despite Teheran’s alliance with Russia.
