ICEJ Isaiah 62 Prayer Initiative

Special Call to Prayer for Israel regarding Coronavirus:

Over recent weeks, Israel and the international community have been confronted by the very serious threat of the Coronavirus. This health crisis has severely impacted global travel and the world economy. Israel has been increasingly strict in its response, including a nationwide slowdown on movement and business activities, two-week quarantines for any incoming travelers, and a ban on any meetings of 10 people or more. The primary aim of these restrictions is to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus and especially to make sure the elderly and others with vulnerable immune systems do not get infected.

We urge you to join us in earnest prayer that the Lord would move mightily to spare lives and to eliminate the suffering and fear caused by the Coronavirus. Pray that God’s will would be accomplished in the earth amid this global crisis. Pray that multitudes would humble themselves, examine their lives and come to truly fear and trust in God our Maker. Pray that medical experts and government authorities would be able to quickly contain and eradicate this menace to public health around the globe. Pray that Israel would be the nation to come up with the solution to nullify this threat. Finally, pray with us that this global health crisis would subside by Passover (April 8-16).

Churches, groups and individuals around the world are joining monthly to pray for Israel according to the command of Isaiah 62:

I have set watchmen on your walls O Jerusalem;
They shall never hold their peace day or night.
You who make mention of the Lord do not keep silent,
And give Him no rest till He establishes
And He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth (Isaiah 62:6-7).

We invite you to join this global movement of prayer by using our monthly prayer points whenever you pray corporately or individually. Also, if possible, join with us in prayer on the first Wednesday of every month as intercession resounds around the globe throughout the day. All you have to do is:
