Tuesday's Ceremony
The Tuesday, April 21st service will begin at the sounding of the Yom HaShoah siren in Israel at 10:00 am (Israel Standard Time) we will alert you via email as to when the service is available to be watched on-demand.
This commemorative service will be hosted by ICEJ President Dr. Jürgen Bühler. It will include special guests, Yisrael Meir Lau, Chairman of Yad Vashem (Holocaust Survivor and former Chief Rabbi of Israel), Shaya Ben Yehuda, Director of International Desk at Yad Vashem, and Sari Granitza, Director of Christian Friends of Yad Vashem.
We hope you will have time to pause with us in remembrance at these two special events.
Monday's Ceremony
On Monday, April 20th at 1:00 pm (EST), we will broadcast LIVE - see video above.
Due to restrictions mandated by Israel's Health Ministry, the ceremony will be pre-recorded and will include messages from Israeli President Reuven Rivlin and Isaeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The event will also include the stories of the six torch lighters, musical interludes, prayers from the chief rabbis and a cantor, and a message delivered on behalf of the Survivors.
