Help Israelis in their time of need
The Prophet Ezekiel Calls It an “Ancient Hatred” (Ezekiel 35:5).
This hatred takes pleasure in the shedding of blood and is driven by demonic forces that want to annihilate the Jewish people. It is directed against the purposes of God.
This hatred manifests itself in every form of violence against the Jewish people. Teenagers are stabbed to death in their while sleeping in their own beds, unsuspecting shoppers are gunned down in markets, innocent men, women and children are the victims of car rammings, shootings, and stabbings while waiting for and riding local busses and myriads of rockets are rained down upon the homes, schools, and work places of Israelis living close to Gaza strip and Lebanese border.
As these acts of terror and violence are not likely to cease, our ministry to the Jewish people must adapt to the needs each new wave of terror brings.
Currently the ICEJ is working to provide:
- Bomb shelters to communites in need
- Funding for treatment of Psycho-trauma (commonly known as Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, or PTSD) for those immediately affected by acts of terror
- Support for a wide-range of educational and curative programs that help rebuild communities throughout the land of Israel that have been affected by terror
- Life-Saving Vests for first responders and city personnel
The book of Proverbs declares that “... a brother is born for adversity.” (Proverbs 17:17) It is in times like these our practical work is also even more important than in times of peace. As Israel is facing these strenuous times, it is our responsibility as Christians to care for those who have become victims of this horrendous terror.
