USA Branch

Purpose

The US Branch exists to financially support the ministry of the ICEJ headquarters in Jerusalem, to provide educational tools and programs for the Christian community in America, and to be a channel and voice of Christian support for Israel and the Jewish people.

Structure

The US Branch was founded in 1986 in Washington, D.C. and is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit. It is governed by a Board of Directors, on which the Executive Director of the ICEJ in Jerusalem has a seat. It draws from the broad experience of an extensive Advisory Board.

Positioning

For twenty years, the Administrative offices of the US Branch were located in Washington, DC. A presence in DC afforded the branch a lot of visibility and produced long-standing relationships with many organizations - both Christian and Jewish - as well as with the Embassy of Israel. The US Director’s office has therefore been maintained in DC so activities can be continued there, but more recently, in July 2006, the Administrative offices moved to Murfreesboro, Tennessee just outside Nashville - one of the fastest growing areas of the US and the center of the Christian music and publishing industries.
