Dear Friends,

In recent weeks we have been strongly encouraged to hear such positive responses from so many of you regarding our New Year prayer initiative, from Finland to Cape Town and as far as the Fiji islands, people have joined us in our special month of prayer.

In response to this outpouring of prayer, we have decided to dedicate the 4th Wednesday of each month as a day of prayer and fasting for Israel and our ministry!

We are inviting individual people, groups or churches to join us in this Isaiah 62 Prayer Initiative by downloading an up-to-date Prayer Guide listing areas of prayer focus for Israel:

I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem;
they will never be silent day or night.
You who call on the LORD, give yourselves no rest,
and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem
and makes her the praise of the earth. (Isaiah 62:6-7)

James says: ‘’You do not have because you do not ask’’ (James 4:2). This should be a challenge to all of us. I truly believe that as we continue to draw near to God, He will draw near to us. There are great blessings ahead of us!

Israel currently faces:

• an unprecedented tsunami of international hostility,
• the rise of a nuclear Iran,
• tension with the US administration,
• a chronic water shortage
• and moral collapse...

But whilst the world is moving into more difficult times, we are a people of hope. This motivates our prayers. God promises us through the Prophet Daniel: “…but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.”
